Maki Rose's Terms of Service:

1. GENERAL:

  1. Concept Required:
    Please have a general idea or concept in mind before reaching out. The clearer your vision, the smoother the process.

  2. Portfolio Use:
    I reserve the right to post your commission publicly (e.g., as part of my portfolio or in streams), unless you request it remain private.

  3. Streaming Rights:
    I may stream the commission process or final product unless you explicitly ask me not to.

  4. AI Use Prohibited:
    You may not upload my music into any AI generation tools or algorithms under any circumstances.

2. PAYMENTS:

  1. Upfront Payment:
    Full payment is required upfront before I begin work.

  2. Payment Plans:
    Partial payments (e.g., 50/50 split) can be arranged before the commission begins, if discussed and agreed upon.

3. revisions

  1. Free Revisions:
    One (1) free revision is included with your commission.

  2. Additional Revisions:
    Extra revisions are available for $30 each.

  3. Limits on Revisions:
    I reserve the right to refuse unreasonable revision requests, especially if they result from a lack of communication or unclear direction.

4. DEADLINES:

  1. Standard Turnaround:
    Delivery within 2 weeks unless otherwise discussed.

  2. Rush Orders:
    If you need the commission faster, a rush fee can be arranged depending on urgency and availability.

  3. Delays:
    If unexpected delays occur, I’ll notify you as soon as possible.

5. USAGE & CREDITS:

  1. Usage Rights:
    You may use the commissioned music for personal, streaming, or branding purposes, but you may not:
    - Resell or redistribute the track.
    - Claim the music as your own creation.

  2. Credits:
    Please credit me clearly as Maki Rose.

6. Termination of Service:

I reserve the right to cancel a commission and refund the client if:

  1. The client violates these terms.

  2. The project becomes unmanageable due to poor communication or unreasonable demands.

  3. Refunds are only offered if no significant work has begun. Once progress is underway, partial refunds may be offered at my discretion.
